Mill House Cottages offers fantastic dog friendly self catering accommodation set in the heart of rural Norfolk.

We have two superb holiday cottages and lovely converted barn located in the grounds of our home in the village of Saham Hills near to the market town of Watton. As dog owners and dog lovers ourselves we know how important it is for guests to feel happy and comfortable when bringing their dogs on holiday. Along with our three lovely doggies Benjamin, Lottie and Finnegan we offer you a special and warm welcome to our unspoilt part of Norfolk!

Finished to a high standard, our self catering accommodation has a wealth of traditional features like beamed ceilings and warming wood burning stoves that are coupled with modern, well-equipped living accommodation. All of accommodation is ideal for pets as they share a large paddock  where you can walk and take in this corner of unspoilt rural Norfolk.  For those with energetic doggies we also have a dog agility course where they can play to their hearts content! We also offer all of our guests the  opportunity to relax in our luxurious hot tub - a fabulous way to round off the day after exploring the surrounding countryside.

At Mill House Cottages, we love dogs of all shapes and sizes, they are always welcome.

We pride ourselves in offering something a little different from the average 'dog friendly holidays' no silly rules here. If your doggy is normally  left during the day and you wish to visit somewhere, your doggy is allowed to stay in our cottages, if you wish your doggy to be walked we are happy to walk your doggy round our paddock at no extra charge.

A great base for exploring Norfolk

Saham Hills is well located for discovering some wonderful Norfolk attractions. The popular town of Swaffham is just eight miles away, or spend a day exploring Thetford Forest. The North Norfolk coast can be reached in under an hour , while the historical cathedral city of Norwich is just over 20 miles away. For those who love to shop Norwich offers a huge variety of shops – from the art and craft shops to be found in Elm Hill Norwich’s oldest street to Chapelfield Mall.   There's also plenty to do in the evenings as the city has a wealth of pubs and restaurants along with cinemas and theatres.

A superb semi-detached cottage which was built in 1862 with modern fixtures and fittings. This cottage in Norfolk features a fabulous first floor beamed bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a high quality living area with a woodburning stove. Step outside and make use of the soothing hot tub as you relive the day’s adventures. You can bring up to two doggies with you when you stay in the Dairy.

Our delightful semi-detached cottage  dates from 1862 and is full of character with beams throughout.  It has two comfortable bedrooms and is ideal for a family or two couples who are looking for a country retreat. Sit back and relax in front of the warming woodburning stove, or let your cares ebb away in the fabulous hot tub. You can bring up to four doggies with you when you stay in the Hayloft

Our lovely Barn has been converted to a very high standard. The open plan living area boasts a vaulted ceiling and a warming wood-burning stove to make even the chilliest evening a pleasure, whilst the fabulous hot tub will soothe you as you relax after a day discovering this wonderful area. You can bring up to four doggies with you when you stay in the Barn.
